What is Body Empathy?

By diving into the previously weakly explored word of where the physical meets the emotional, Ana through her many years of working with woman has discovered an immense potential of this psycho-physical approach. Thus, from the dance techniques that incorporate an emotional component in cooperation with psychologist Hrvoje Maleković there emerged a contemporary method that combines the physical experience of circular movements in women with psychological workshops. It is called Body Empathy because the process includes recognition and change of the physical and emotional states of others as well as personal ones. Today, Ana continues with her mission and together with Laura Kuhar, Master of Science in Psychology, she continues with psychological research that studies the effects of her exercise methods. Traditional fitness is slowly becoming a thing of the past, the future of physical exercise brings along changes that Ana has already incorporated leading the way to modern kinesiology.

What does it consist of?

Body Empathy consists of a series of workshops where we learn about ourselves, how to reach all the corners of our personality, to release emotions and to fully sharpen our physical empathy. The physical exercise consists of repetitive circular movements with expert psychological guidance, bringing about unbelievable results of stress release, increased satisfaction with oneself, self-confidence and in the end better living.

Control of emotions

If you are asking yourself why is control of emotions important, the answer is hidden in the scientific approach of human communication. Science has taught us that what we say with our bodies is more important than what we say with our words, since three fourths of our communication is nonverbal. Think of your body as an instrument that transmits feelings and emotions every time you speak with someone. If you are in a state of stress or sorrow, emotionally you are tense and so is your body, and the people around you perceive this immediately. When you learn to change the state you are in, you will learn to manage not only your emotions but your life as well.
